After visiting the museum, which was a treat, Alicia and I walked through town and snapped a few shots. We were met back at our housing by a student in our class from earlier in the day. She offered to take us around and show us things. We spent the better part of the afternoon re-wandering around getting even more pictures. It was a gorgeous day, with a slight breeze. A bonus was that multiple times we saw puppies! The fruit we both brought was a success. And I even had my first piece of a mandarin orange. Who knew it would take me going into a village and being approached by a student to try one. We went to the grocery store as well as found out there is a restaurant called "Camp," we will be going there to have a burger and some fries.
Typical Alaska, always majestic around every corner.
